Tears of Wonder: Exploring the Emotional Depths of a new painting

I’m excited to share the second painting in my Curious Interlude series, titled "Tears of Wonder." This 18x24 piece captures the enigmatic eyes of Serling Curious, set against a deep blue sky, with two tears falling from one of the eyes. Each tear tells its own story: one drop features my signature billow motif, while the other shows a WeeBee leaping into it, creating a sense of a portal into another realm.

With "Tears of Wonder," I aim to explore the emotions that resonate deeply with creatives—those who dedicate their lives to wonder, imagination, and the mysteries that lie within. This series seeks to convey the duality of the creative journey, where moments of sadness and introspection coexist with leaps of faith and bursts of inspiration. In this painting, the tear isn’t just a symbol of sadness; it’s an invitation to lean into those feelings and let your art leap into you, much like the WeeBee does.

For art collectors looking to add a unique piece to their collection, "Tears of Wonder" embodies the essence of the creative experience. It’s a visual representation of the delicate balance between introspection and expression, perfect for those who connect with themes of curiosity and the boundless nature of imagination.

On my instagram account you can see a couple of reels showing my painting process and me placing the work in a frame.  I aim to have the series available for purchase and to view online later this month.
